SABA NEZAJ is a 22-year-old filmmaker based in New York City (born and raised in Bayonne, NJ). They attended Project City in 2022-2023, a specialized school that helps future concept designers learn directing and storyboarding skills particular to the animation industry. Recent exhibitions include a projections showcase that was part of a Drew Theatre and Dance production of She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen in Fall 2023, and the Arts Academic Awards Exhibition in Spring 2023. They will be completing their Honors Thesis in Spring 2024 with a solo exhibition in the Dorothy Young Center for the Arts, “THE INVISIBLE CONNECTION: An Exploration of Social Artwork through Film Practice.” They will be graduating in Spring 2025 with a Fine Arts Major (Film Concentration), with three Minors in Film Studies, Creative Writing, and Theatre Arts.
